Morning Buzz: March 6, 2014


Yesterday, the House passed the compromise language between the Legislature and the Count My Vote initiative. 2SB54 passed out of the House with some legnthy debate. See what the bill does.

A bill which would add protections to bars that volunatarily install breathalyzers. Included in the bill is ensuring data collected is only used to test BAC, and not sent to law enforcement. The bill moves onto the House floor after a unanimous vote in the House Law Enforcement Committee.

Yesterday, we cleared the 3rd reading calendar and prioritzed the bills. It’s looking much more obtainable now.
