This morning, we begin with appropriations subcommittees.
At 10, we begin Floor time. Here are some bills up for debate:
HB28– Rep. Wilson, R- Kaysville, has proposed the creation of an economic development task force. This task force would be required to “make recommendations on how economic production in the state can be increased, including how more exports and more high-paying jobs can be created, how the state can attract more businesses, and how regulatory or other barriers to economic production or economic development can be reduced or eliminated…”
HB201– Here’s a fun one, and just in time for all the snow we’ve received the past few days. Rep. Eliason, R- Sandy, has proposed adding two official state sports, skiing and snowboarding. Now you can have a real excuse to take the day off and hit the slopes.
Today, our standing committees are: Business and Labor (450 Capitol), Education (445 Capitol), and Health and Human Services (25 House).
