We’re off bright and early in the Social Services Appropriations Subcommittee, Executive Offices and Criminal Justice Appropriations Subcommittee, Higher Education Appropriations Subcommittee, Infrastructure and and General Government Appropriations Subcommittees. Over the last week and a half the appropriations subcommittees have been working to create a base budget. A base budget is passed early in the session in order to ensure that in the event the House and the Senate don’t agree on a final budget, existing programs are still funded. You can follow along with on our website.
Today we’ll be on the floor from 11:00am-12:15pm. Following that we’ll have caucus meetings and our regularly scheduled Speaker’s Q&A at 1:45pm.
At 2pm, you can tune in to the House Government Operations Committee and the House Revenue and Taxation Committee. Then at 4pm, listen in to the House Business and Labor Committee, House Education Committee, and House Health and Human Services Committee. And for the over achievers out there, the Executive Appropriations Committee begins at 6:10pm.
