Today, more than 100 people from over 35 countries took the Oath of Allegiance at the Utah State Capitol.
Representative Norm Thurston, in partnership with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), hosted the naturalization ceremony.
Utah Speaker of the House Greg Hughes and former Utah State Representative Sophia DiCaro delivered remarks at the ceremony. Laura McNeer, field office director for USCIS, administered the Oath of Allegiance.
