Overview of the Day:

Today is the 17 day of the 2017 Legislative Session. The House prayer and pledge were led by guests of Representative Angela Romero. The prayer was offered by Lieutenant Governor Spencer Cox. The pledge was led by Rep. Romero’s intern, Celesta Nagel.

 

Meet a New Representative: Kelly Miles

Representative Kelly Miles now represents District 11 in Ogden after having lived in the area for nearly 50 years. He received his B.S. degree in business from Weber State University. He then received his MBA and a law degree from the University of Utah. Rep. Miles is an area attorney and business owner. His greatest joys in life are his wife, four children, and two granddaughters. He has served in many community capacities including Republican delegate, a chair for McKay-Dee hospital board and a member of the Area Board for the Boys and Girls Club. Rep. Miles will be a great addition the House.
